Ben Lowe (守仁)
Chair, A Rocha USA | Senior Advisor to the Executive Director, A Rocha International
Rev. Ben Lowe is the author of Green Revolution, Doing Good Without Giving Up, and The Future of Our Faith (co-authored with Ron Sider) and has over a decade of experience engaging faith communities around social and environmental concerns.
Originally from Singapore, Ben was the founding national organizer of Young Evangelicals for Climate Action and is currently completing a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Ecology from the University of Florida (USA). His expertise is in the human dimensions of environmental conservation, and his research examines how people perceive and respond to climate and environmental change, and the roles that religion, ethics, and communication play in the process. Ben has a B.S. in Environmental Biology from Wheaton College (Illinois, USA), where he helped start a college chapter of A Rocha.
He currently also serves as the chairperson of A Rocha USA and his work has been featured in media outlets ranging from Audubon Magazine and Christianity Today to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. For more info: benlowe.net
