Welcome to A Rocha Australia!

We’re delighted to announce the launch of A Rocha Australia after many years of prayer, meetings and discussions.

This 19th National Organization spans the vast Australian continent, with directors from five states. Currently there are two proposals being reviewed to become A Rocha Australia’s first projects. At Tahlee Ministries, near Port Stephens in New South Wales, the focus will be on biodiversity studies, bush regeneration and environmental education at the ongoing camps, retreats and seminars. At Capernwray Bible School and Conference Centre in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, there will be habitat restoration of Southern Highland Shale Forest and research into a threatened species of eucalyptus.

There is already interest from a number of other locations across Australia, including possibilities emerging for revegetation activities in Victoria and wetland work on the Murray River in South Australia.
