Guess who’s been spotted at Tahlee?

Our newest national organization, A Rocha Australia, reports of a Koala Phascolarctos cinereus being discovered at Tahlee Centre for Creation Care. The sighting was made during a new research programme set up by Tim Currie, a final year Environmental Science student from Deakin University.

Tim and the A Rocha Australia team ask for your prayers that the project, which was specifically created to learn more about these marsupials, will continue and that more Koalas will emerge from their slumber and cooperate fully with Tim and co!

The discovery of the Koala marks the highlight of a busy period at the Tahlee Centre which has also seen 100 bird surveys completed and over 150 different species identified, with 11 of these listed as Vulnerable on the state or federal endangered species lists.
