Doubling donations – growing gifts

This Easter, your donation to A Rocha International can be doubled!

That’s right! We have been challenged to raise $25,000 (about £16,000) to support and empower A Rocha’s National Organizations. If we reach our target, we’ll receive an extra $25,000 as matched funding! This will enable us to support the work of A Rocha teams around the world – providing good governance, mentoring and training workshops and helping them decide how best to focus their energy and resources.

Over the years, we’ve seen the worth of our initiatives. For example, one regional conference we organized brought African leaders together to discuss A Rocha’s global vision, to build relationships and to share experiences and best practices across the national teams. Inspired by an A Rocha project in Nairobi, A Rocha Ghana invited Raphael Magambo, National Director of A Rocha Kenya, to share his expertise in Farming God’s Way through training workshops in Ghana. This form of conservation agriculture combines biblical ethics with practical farming techniques, which increase productivity, even on impoverished soils.
