All change for A Rocha France

There have been exciting developments for A Rocha France over the last few months.

Following the sale of Les Tourades earlier this year, the focus of A Rocha France’s work has shifted to Les Courmettes, our environmental centre in the hills above Nice. Every year, Les Courmettes welcomes churches and private groups for seminars, courses and eco-themed holidays. But being a large, heritage building, there is always much maintenance work to be done. Thanks to a major gift, essential structural repairs can be made, as well as providing wheelchair access. New staff have joined the team and Jean-François Mouhot, formerly the centre’s Director, now has responsibility for overseeing the work of A Rocha France.

The team look forward to welcoming many visitors over the coming months. In September they will be hosting a seminar (in English and French) on: ‘Your Kingdom Come: Living with hope in a wounded world’, at which Rev Dr Dave Bookless will be exploring the Bible’s message for today’s era of ecological disaster and fear and how the church should respond.
